As we gear up for another bustling summer, we're on the hunt for a talented and enthusiastic Venue Manager to lead our team at St. Johns Bar & Eatery to new heights!. Located on Wellington's picturesque waterfront this will be the place to be this Summer!

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Venue Manager to lead our established team and drive the daily operations of St. Johns. This dynamic role requires a passionate leader with a keen focus on team inspiration, financial acumen, and the ability to expand and innovate our business. As the Venue Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our establishment, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience.

What's on Offer:

• Generous Salary $85,000 - $95,000 + Kiwi Saver
• Quarterly KPI Bonus - $44,000 P/A

Essential requirements:

• 3+ years of Venue Management experience 
• Experience working in high volume food & beverage venue
• Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• P&L understanding and ability to deep dive into financials to analyse where there is opportunity to grow your business
• Ability to generate revenue-building ideas throughout all aspects of the business
• Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
• Write and control an effective roster
• Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss
• Have a market awareness and trend analysis relevant to food and beverage in the area
• Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully
• Current License Controller Cert (LCQ)
