Are you passionate about hospitality and leadership? Morningside Tavern, our beloved local venue known for its great food, vibrant atmosphere, and friendly service, is looking for a dynamic Venue Manager to join our team this summer!

As Venue Manager, you'll orchestrate the day-to-day operations of our multifaceted, high-volume venue. We're in search of an individual with a proven track record in managing large functions, high volume food & beverage, adept at team leadership, and skilled in cultivating and nurturing strong management teams.

• Generous Salary $85,000 - $95,000 + Kiwi Saver
• Quarterly KPI Bonus - $44,000 P/A

Essential requirements:

• 3+ years of Venue Management experience 
• Experience working in high volume food & beverage venue
• Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• P&L understanding and ability to deep dive into financials to analyse where there is opportunity to grow your business
• Ability to generate revenue-building ideas throughout all aspects of the business
• Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
• Write and control an effective roster
• Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss
• Have a market awareness and trend analysis relevant to food and beverage in the area
• Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully
• Current License Controller Cert (LCQ)
