The New Zealand Venue Co. family are looking for a talented and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team and work at our Queenstown venue. Our company’s rapid growth will provide you with multiple avenues to develop your career to its full potential!

The successful candidate will possess a friendly personality, good communication skills, ability to thrive under pressure and strong multi-tasking skills. This role will entail assisting in the day-to-day operations of the venue, working collaboratively and providing support to the staff and management team.

What we need from you

• A passion for the hospitality industry
• A friendly, enthusiastic, can-do attitude
• Capacity to work in a team environment while leading from the front
• Exceptional customer service and presentation skills
• 1 – 2 years of restaurant and hospitality service experience
• Flexible availability to work rostered shifts as our venues operate Monday to Sunday

What will your job duties include?

• Effective day to day communication with a multi-skilled team 
• Booking and event management
• Support staff in delivering an outstanding customer experience
• Provide leadership and supervision to food and beverage team members during service
• Ensure functions and promotional activities are coordinated effectively
• Conduct stocktake reporting and ordering
• Troubleshooting and problem solving, including customer complaint resolution
